Basic recipe for the roast chicken à la grandmother

The following ingredients are needed for the chicken:

Preparation: How to prepare the crispy roast chicken in the oven
Be sure to take the chicken out of the refrigerator one or two hours before preparation and let it warm up at room temperature. This reduces the cooking time. Then rinse the rooster in cold water, pat dry and stuff with the entire bunch of parsley. Save only a few leaves for later decoration. Peel and coarsely chop the celery root, wash the carrot and cut it into small pieces, quarter the peeled onion. Also quarter the washed potatoes, and put the vegetables, including the halved, unpeeled garlic bulb, in a romaine pot that has been watered according to the instructions. As with the roast chicken recipe in the oven, with a roaster or in a romaine pot, take the rooster out of the refrigerator two hours before preparing it, wash it in cold water and pat it dry. The difference between this and the other methods of preparation is that the chicken is only attached to a skewer or a holder and therefore does not come into contact with the vegetables. After you’ve sufficiently seasoned the roast chicken, stick the rooster on your grill and follow each manufacturer’s recommendation.
