In my house we have a small problem, namely an electrical short circuit, or that two cables touch each other. Does anyone know how to find the point where they touch? or what can be done? Thanks

Community expert cable, electrician the first step would be to unplug ALL devices that are connected to the affected circuit, and then check again. i.e. fuse in. if it bangs again (don’t worry, nothing can happen to you except that you get scared, if there is no improvement, the short circuit must be somewhere in the system to look for…. first of all you should think about whether you have drilled or nailed somewhere. in the 2nd step I would open switches and sockets and check for traces of smoke (let) if there is nothing clear to see, they must be dismantled (not disconnected) if there is nothing to find here, the relevant junction boxes must be searched for and opened … lg, Anna Clearly do not fiddle around with the house electrics but contact a specialist! You don’t play around with such things if you don’t know anything about it. Not even if you think you have a clue. Think your loved ones in the house are more important to you than saving a little money, right? mfg 4u2 Hello YondaimeHokage You can only unplug all devices. If the short circuit is gone then you plug the devices back in one by one, when the short circuit occurs you have the defective device. If the short circuit is still present after unplugging all devices then you need a specialist to troubleshoot. Greeting HobbyTfz Unplug ALL devices you have!!! Measure the resistance at the outlets of the fuses or automats. If the meter shows OL then you have no short circuit on this line. If you measure something in the Ohm range then you have the short circuit on the line. Are you sure that the fuse or the automatic circuit breaker has tripped? The fuse tells you which circuit is affected. Let’s see what is in the circuit. Sockets, junction boxes, lamp sockets, light bulbs also sometimes cause short circuits, etc.
